Nathan and Krista are sad to announce that Coal Creek Poultry Auction is closing. August 29, 2026 will be our FINAL auction date. We did not make this decision lightly; the auction has been a part of our lives for the past 16 years. We have made the decision to retire, due to life events and an opportunity that came up for us in Eastern Washington. There will be rumors, conjecture and stories that go around about this decision, and Krista is excited to hear what they are! The person who has the most unique version of why we are closing will be given $50!! Submissions should be in writing so we can pick a winner, which will be announced on 8/29.We have enjoyed meeting new people, learning new things, making memories and having a great time! We wish our former/current staff and former/current patrons the very best and appreciate all that each person has contributed to this endeavor! We could not have done this without the help, support and goodwill of our auction friends and family! Invoice Payments:You can come pick up cash on Aug 21/22 OR Aug 28/29. We will be offering the following options also:If you have PayPal – please private message via Facebook or text with your valid PayPal information. We will continue paying out via PayPal through the end of 2026. Cash payments after 8/29: please private message via Facebook, email or text and we will do our best to make arrangements. We will also announce any dates that we will be available for you to come out and receive cash. Starting January 1, 2027: We will be mailing checks to anyone who still has open invoices. We will post a list after 8/29/26 of the remaining open invoices after the final auction. (This list will not have dollar amounts; you will need to reach out to us for that information.)

DROP-OFFs: We will accept FARM BIRDS, EGGS, RABBITS, BUCKETS, CAGES and Animal Related Items ONLY! And on Friday ONLY from 11a - 6p. Sellers may receive their funds the next Friday we are open, or via PayPal 11 days after the sale. The PINK slip you receive when you consign animals is needed to receive your funds, put it in your wallet or take a picture with your phone and leave it with us. We stopped mailing checks in May 2020. You can also choose to donate your funds.
